Graduate Architect
Leads design direction, from the first site reading through the drawings that get a building built.
The studio
A creative architectural outfit in Nairobi. We draw functional, visually compelling spaces for homes, mixed-use buildings, and commercial work.
How we work
Concept, documentation, and visualisation stay in one room. The drawing and the built idea are meant to match.
01
Site, brief, and the life the building has to hold.
02
Massing, light, and a clear spatial idea.
03
Materials, plans, and coordination.
04
Working drawings and support through construction.
The practice
Design With Ace is a Nairobi studio. Most of the work is residential: maisonettes, family houses, and the mixed buildings that sit on ordinary plots.
We stay with a project from the first site reading through working drawings. The same people who sketch the idea also coordinate the plan a contractor builds from.
The studio also publishes the work. Drawings, photographs, and the journal are how clients and collaborators see the practice before they walk in.
A small studio. Architecture, design, and the technical work of publishing the practice sit together.
